As for work, the school distance learning is going well. I can't make a student click on links or type into the chat, but otherwise my students are doing well. I just want them to try-really try, and put efforts into figuring what comes easy to them and what is the challenge for them. In math it is about thinking and thought process using numbers and variables-but when kids ask me when is THIS going to show up in my life- it is really hard to explain to them that it is not THIS that will show up in their life ever again, but THINKING and LOGIC is something you will do EVERYDAY. How else do we get our brain to practice logic in a low-risk decision making? It is math. We learn and practice process and rules. If anyone knows how else to spin that, I am all ears.
In the daily life, CrossFit I have been beasting on that. I did a lot of Rx+ weights, but I know my body gets tired, so recovery is important. My weight has been fluctuating-so I am trying to watch what I eat, but I also know my energy needs for CrossFit has increased with the stamina I am putting myself through. Fashion ways, my outfits are still going strong. Haven't repeated yet! It is these two simple things that make my life so much better. CrossFit and style/clothing makes me just happy. We have to find these little wins everyday that we can control, because teaching, meetings, students, parents, expectations of district, and politics can take its toll on anyone. Keep your head up and keep moving forward!
