"What I want my teachers to know is… That some students actually do value the time and effort that our teachers put up for us. Although teachers believe that students don’t care for themselves or the teacher, this is not the case. Just like teachers that can see the effort and value we put in our work, we as well can also see the interests and effort the teachers put into teaching us. If a teacher is excited and motivated to teach, the students will feel that way too and put in more value into what goes on in the classroom."
"What I want my teachers to know is…I want my teachers to realize that they don’t go unappreciated, for all they put into their students and work, it is something that’s very special to be able and want to teach our youth and next generation. Thank you. Even though students complain, they’ll be thankful in the end. Teachers should know and remember that."
"I want my teachers to know that I really respect what they are doing for our community. Even though they are not getting paid enough, they still do it and help young adults move towards their goals. What I admire the most is how they have to handle homework and life outside of school just like any other student. I appreciate all my teachers from kindergarten till now. I feel I am well prepared and became a good student. In my life, teachers have always been a great influence on me. So keep doing what you’re doing because you’re changing lives in a positive way."
Thank you kiddos.
